Where will my tree be planted in the Holy Land?
Christian Green trees are planted by the government forest agency on public land in Israel. The current reforestation efforts are in three places: the mountainous slopes in the Galilee, in the barren desert, and in urban areas for beautification and recreational parks. While we cannot direct a specific location for the planting of individual trees, you can be confident that your tree will be planted where the need for it is greatest.

By partnering with the KKL-JNF (Israel's exclusive forestry agency, by virtue of the 1961 Covenant it signed with the Government), Christian Green is able to provide assurance that your gifted tree is being planted in the area in Israel that is most in need at the time.

What types of trees are planted?
They type of tree planted is as varied as the different climates in the Holy Land.  The trees planted are matched with the region.  The objective would be to best re-integrate the traditional trees referenced in the Bible - carob, fig, acacia, fir, olive, palm, and more.  However, the exact type of tree planted is selected by Israel's forestry agency.

Can I visit my tree in the Holy Land?
While visiting Israel, your can visit any of a number of forests where your tree has made a contribution to the national afforestation effort.  While the $25 price point does not allow us to mark each tree with a donor sign, you can see the change that you and so many other like-minded supporters were able to effect.  There are many organizations and who can facilitate this part of your trip to the Holy land.

How many trees should I purchase?
Plant however many trees you feel comfortable with within your budget.  A gift of tree planting endures for your occasion, and for a lifetime; your tree will spread its roots in the holy soil of Jerusalem and beyond, and grow to be a lasting legacy.  Whether you chose to give one tree, an "century" of 100 trees, or some number in between, the thoughtfulness of your gift will be heartfelt by the recipient or their memory.

Can I order 10 or more certificates at once?
You can gift any number of trees to a single recipient within a single order.  Simply complete the online order and payment process and we will take care of the rest (planting the tree, ongoing maintenance of the land, and delivering a beautiful certificate to communicate your heartfelt gift to support God's green earth).

Should you choose to gift trees to multiple recipients during a single order, we will complete your order for you to make the process easier.  You have two options to choose from:
